EdgeTeam Technology was founded on a simple belief: people buy from people they trust.
Before starting the company, Cory Strange spent more than 3 decades with equipment and software manufacturers, then with a large value-added reseller. Along the way he built deep technical expertise and the kind of customer relationships that came from picking up the phone and showing up.
As the VAR grew, the relationships started to slip. Process replaced attention. Scale replaced service. The personalized work that had made him good at his job was being squeezed out, and Cory could see where it was headed.
In March 2012, he founded EdgeTeam Technology with a clear mission: bring back a relationship-first approach to IT. Trust, accountability, and a real understanding of what each customer is trying to do.
EdgeTeam started by serving rural and underserved communities. Organizations that depended on secure, high-performing technology just as much as their metropolitan counterparts but rarely got the same attention. Cory believed they deserved more, and that belief became the standard for the whole company. Today we bring that same level of service to every customer we work with, regardless of size, industry, or zip code.
